Partner Robert Meitus is responsible for entertainment, media, and intellectual property law matters for many clients, including musicians, record labels, filmmakers, and authors.  Meitus has authored several copyright articles and is an adjunct professor of law at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.  Meitus is a Grammy voting member and has been named a top music lawyer by Billboard.  He was the original founder of the livestreaming company Mandolin in 2020, is producer of the Kennedy documentary series on the History Channel, manages singer-songwriter Carrie Newcomer, and has been a lifelong musician in various groups.  Meitus is also founder of Bloomington Roots Foundation, which presents live concerts and educational events and co-founded the Soup Bowl Benefit, which has raised over $4 million for the Hoosier Hills Food Bank.

Partner John P. Strohm specializes in transactional entertainment and intellectual property law with a primary focus on representation of music industry clients. After a decade-long career as a performing and recording musician, he began his law practice in 2004 as a corporate and financial services lawyer in Birmingham, Alabama. He developed a roster of music industry clients before becoming Senior Counsel in the Music Row office of Loeb & Loeb, LLP, in 2011. He left law practice from 2017 until 2022 to become President of Rounder Records, an iconic independent label owned by Concord, one of the largest independent entertainment companies in the world. Currently his practice focuses on representing artists, songwriters, producers, music publishers, independent record labels, technology companies, and entrepreneurs.

Tony Rose, Of Counsel to the firm, has been practicing law for more than 30 years (20 with Robert Meitus). Rose provides contract drafting and legal counsel in the areas of Internet law, copyright, and trademark. He was an adjunct professor of Internet law at the Indiana University Maurer and McKinney Schools of Law for more than 20 semesters. He has served as General Counsel to a software consulting firm, and to a state agency overseeing Internet service to state-affiliated users.

Kenan L. Farrell advises clients on intellectual property law, including trademark, copyright, trade dress, trade secret, patent, and privacy issues. Kenan’s practice focuses on managing client’s intellectual property portfolios, including trademark and copyright registration, opposition and cancellation proceedings, copyright and trademark licensing, enforcement and infringement matters, and other disputes.

Kenan received his B.S. in Biology from Indiana University and his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2003. Kenan previously taught Art & Museum Law as an adjunct professor at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Kenan, his wife, and baby boy live in Indianapolis, Indiana and enjoy music, hiking, camping, and visiting craft breweries.

Associate Keltie Haley is responsible for entertainment, trademark, and other intellectual property law matters for a variety of clients, including musicians, record labels, and other business clients. She received her J.D. from Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law and her B.S.P.A. in Law & Public Policy and B.A. in Art History from Indiana University. Keltie is an active member of the intellectual property legal community, serving as the Vice Chair of the Indiana State Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Council, group leader for the S. Jay Plager Intellectual Property American Inn of Court, and Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition Coach for Maurer School of Law.

Megan Wheeler works on entertainment, media, and intellectual property law matters for many clients, including musicians, filmmakers, theatrical productions, and authors. Wheeler has authored a law journal note featured in Volume 12, Issue 3, of Indiana University’s law journal IP Theory and is occasionally a guest speaker in the entertainment courses taught by Robert Meitus at Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Prior to law school, Wheeler worked in the arbitration department at National Futures Association, which is a regulating body for the sale and trade on options, swap, and commodities. She received her J.D. from Maurer, and her B.M from University of Michigan.

Her commitment to the intersection of law and creativity is informed by her background as a classically trained violist and her undergraduate studies in English Literature at DePauw University. Lily’s legal training is marked by excellence in research, writing, and advocacy. She was named one of two Champions and recognized with Best Brief and Oral Advocacy Honors in the 2025 Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition. Also, as a Dean’s Writing Fellow, Lily mentored first-year students in legal research and writing.
